St Peter's, Caversham
Following on from a recommendation, we were asked to attend St Peter's and advise on possible solutions to repair the valley roof which had been patch repaired and continually leaking on and off for seven years. To provide a “Belt and Braces" solution which we could guarantee would not cause issues in the future, the existing valley tiling, original horsehair felt and battens were removed, along with the leadwork which had failed in a number of places. The valleys were reinstated with new breathable felt, battens and the tiles salvage and reused. The old lead was removed, and the valley reboarded and overlayed with GRP.
